CBA In-House Lawyers committees

At the CBA In-House Lawyers , we have five volunteer committees dedicated to helping and promoting in-house counsel within their organizations and the legal profession.

Advocacy Committee

This Committee pursues improvements in the law and the administration of justice. It advises the CBA In-House Lawyers Board  on legal and policy issues of interest or concern to the in-house legal community and on which the CBA In-House Lawyers can inform public debate. It also encourages the in-house community to participate in the advocacy and law reform activities of the CBA.

Communications Committee

This Committee promotes a broader understanding and appreciation of the activities of the CBA In-House Lawyers and our members among lawyers. It stimulates thought, commentary, discussion and the spread of ideas important to the personal and professional development of in-house counsel.

Diversity Committee

The Committee fosters initiatives to attract, mentor, retain and promote diverse individuals within the in-house counsel profession.

Mentoring Committee

This Committee oversees our mentoring program for in-house counsel.
